For this season, we dug through the Ringier Bildarchiv in Aarau—one of Switzerland’s largest private press photo collections, built by the media house behind tabloid titles like Blick. The archive holds over seven million images from decades of Swiss public life, celebrity culture, and everyday moments.
We paired these images with overheard sayings and everyday quotes we’d been collecting at the time. The result: a poster series that clashed past press imagery with raw, unspectacular contemporary voices—a low-key commentary on how images and language shape public memory.
