We helped develop the visual identity for Pimp My Chair, a project by our friends at Bureau Brunner in collaboration with Vitra. The initiative reimagines iconic Vitra chairs through playful, functional accessories that enhance usability without altering the original design. Our identity work embraced this spirit of transformation, crafting a bold and adaptable visual system that complements the project’s inventive nature. The design balances clarity with a touch of whimsy, reflecting the project’s aim to add new layers of interaction to classic furniture pieces. Pimp My Chair was nominated for the 2023 Swiss Design Awards in Product Design, recognising its innovative approach to extending the life and functionality of design classics.
