Das Narr #35

For Das Narr #35, we explore a nameless village along Stolperstrasse, brought to life through the illustrations of Walter Wolff. The issue features a diverse cast of characters, including the cat-loving Britta Louise von Hof and the mysterious Otto Schlossherr. This issue invites writers to contribute a text about, by, or against one of these villagers, exploring the interplay of fiction and the peculiarities of village life. We also feature a series by acclaimed Swiss photographer Beat Streuli, whose work captures everyday people from a distance, blurring the line between the public and private. His images transform fleeting moments into compelling narratives.

The issue includes texts by Eva Burmeister, Fausto Bradke, Félix Lucas Ernst, Philip Hart, Jan Decker, Shpresa Jashari, Fabio Kilcher, Anne Klapperstück, Na Kath Mer, Rebekka Salm, Dana Shirley Schällert, Noemi Somalvico, Thyra Thorn, Lilith Tiefenbacher, and Ilia Vasella.
