For the final fundraising push towards their new building, we accompanied KIFF Aarau through the design and rollout of their crowdfunding campaign. From website to motion graphics, informational leaflets, poster series and a set of three t-shirts—the identity was developed to feel immediate, bold, and rooted in music culture.
We created a custom version of our Kunath typeface for the campaign, combining ultra-condensed with regular-width letters to build a dynamic typographic rhythm. Iconic lyrics and quotes from music history were woven into the messaging, always paired with the word KIFF, creating recognisable yet playful moments throughout the campaign assets.
The campaign exceeded its target, securing over CHF 560,000 and closing the final financial gap for the KIFF 2.0 project. The new venue—set to open in 2026—will house a 1,000-capacity concert hall, a club stage, rehearsal spaces, a restaurant and a new home for Kanal K radio.
